Tanium Digital Employee Experience (DEX) is the newest (and often the least understood) of our solutions. Tanium DEX helps organizations monitor and improve employee satisfaction by providing real-time data on the performance of your employees’ endpoints and applications and how they feel about your digital employee experience. Tanium DEX also integrates with self-service automation to remediate employee IT issues at scale.

In this episode of Tanium Tech Talks, Ashley welcomes Senior Director of Solution Engineering Ryan Doon to walk us through the enhanced workflows in Tanium DEX to demonstrate new efficiencies in IT support: real-time monitoring, investigating, remediating.

Discovering Tanium Digital Employee Experience (DEX): Tanium combines real-time monitoring, automated self-remediation, rapid incident investigation, and secure remote desktop capabilities to enhance IT efficiency and security and improve employee satisfaction. Integrate with ServiceNow to further enhance service desk efficiency.

Last-Mile Visibility: Tanium’s platform offers “last-mile visibility,” allowing administrators to understand user experiences and frustrations in real time, which can significantly improve IT support.

Tanium Performance and Investigate modules: In this video, Ryan provides a demo of the Performance module, showing how it captures various endpoint metrics, sets thresholds for events, and tracks performance scores over time. He then walks us through the Investigate module, highlighting its integration with ServiceNow for seamless incident management.

Engage module and user self-remediation: Ryan demonstrates how the Tanium Engage module allows IT to send surveys and notifications to end users for self-remediation, reducing the burden on help desks. The Engage module can be customized and triggered based on specific conditions, offering a wide range of remediation options.

ScreenMeet Integration: Ryan demonstrates ScreenMeet, a screen-sharing tool integrated with Tanium, which allows IT to remotely view and control user endpoints, enhancing troubleshooting capabilities.

Customer feedback and performance impact: Ryan addresses common customer concerns about performance impact, assuring that Tanium’s lightweight agent does not affect endpoint performance while providing comprehensive monitoring.
