Converge 2024 was an unforgettable event with many exciting announcements, insightful sessions, and memorable moments.
From the groundbreaking news of Tanium Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) and the latest product roadmap plans to an inspiring discussion with guest speaker Mayim Bialik, Converge attendees were kept on the edge of their seats this year – especially when riding attractions at the exclusive Universal Studios party!

This event brought together partners from around the world to discuss current industry trends, showcase the latest innovations, and recognize their remarkable achievements.

1. Introducing Tanium AEM
At Converge 2024, we unveiled Tanium AEM, marking a significant evolution in our converged endpoint management platform. Tanium AEM leverages AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance asset discovery, inventory, vulnerability management, endpoint management, incident response, and digital employee experience to enable faster and better decision making and deliver significant business outcomes for our customers.

2. Product roadmap and updates
Several product updates and roadmap announcements were made at Converge this year, including Cloud Workloads – a solution that provides visibility and control for containerized environments. We also announced our vision for Endpoint Expansion, which will enable seamless management and security across all connected devices regardless of whether the Tanium agent is deployed on the device.

3. Global Partner Summit
The Converge week kicked off with Tanium’s Global Partner Summit, which was hosted by Tanium’s SVP of Global Partner Sales, Tony Beller, who encouraged partners to get involved, get ready, and get excited about the game-changing potential of Tanium AEM. Other partner themes included ways of unlocking customer value via Tanium’s Global Executive Engagement team, demonstrating why customers buy Tanium, and highlighting Tanium’s commitment to our partners.

Throughout the session, emceed by Paul Mayes, head of global partner development and strategy, great importance was placed on the year-over-year increase in Tanium services growth rate and how AEM will help accelerate partner-led services attachment. New for this year’s event, the Global Partner Summit concluded with afternoon business and technical breakout tracks. Partners were able to dive deeper into the resources available to drive their success.
Introducing the new Partner Portal
During the Business Leader Track breakout session, partners were treated to a walk-through of a new Partner Portal, which follows a refreshed Tanium Partner Advantage program that occurred earlier in the year. The portal launch, scheduled for December 17, enhances Tanium’s digital presence and improves partner engagement through a more intuitive and personalized experience.
Global Partner Awards
Attendees also helped celebrate the winners of Tanium’s third annual Global Partner Awards across various categories. This year’s Partner of the Year winners demonstrated unprecedented growth, driving expansion into international markets and acquiring new customers across all segments. Partner sponsor booths and breakout sessions
At Converge 2024, partner sponsors showcased a variety of innovative solutions and services at their booths located in the Partner Pavilion, providing attendees with interactive demos and hands-on experiences.
The Global Partner Summit also featured partner breakout sessions that offered deep dives into various topics, valuable knowledge, and practical insights. Here’s an overview of some of what was discussed during breakout sessions from these Platinum partners:
- Chuco hosted an engaging breakout session titled, “Chuco gives a FAQ,” where they addressed the most frequently asked questions about Tanium administration
- ServiceNow presented “Optimizing Your Security Posture with Tanium + ServiceNow,” a must-watch session for security teams about how to harness the power of both solutions to collaborate better and deliver impressive results
- PwC delivered the breakout session, “Revolutionize Your Security: Utilizing Automate for More Efficient Operations,” about how PwC enables leaders to streamline recurring tasks and concentrate on what truly matters
- Microsoft hosted a breakout session called “Tanium + Microsoft: Defense in Depth,” which explored how Tanium can seamlessly complement and enhance the Microsoft unified SOC platform and other solutions
- AHEAD presented “Driving Innovation Across IT Ops and Sec Ops: Real-World Insights from Standard Industries and AHEAD,” which provided insights from real practitioners about how organizations are using the Tanium platform to its full potential

4. Guest Keynote Mayim Bialik
Well-known for her acting roles in “Blossom,” “The Big Bang Theory,” and as a host of “Jeopardy!”, Mayim Bialik is also an accomplished neuroscientist and best-selling author. At Converge, she delivered an inspiring keynote that captivated the audience and focused on mental health and building trust in AI.
5. Universal Studios party
The Universal Studios party at Converge 2024 brought attendees together for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and networking opportunities.
Converge attendees received exclusive access to Universal CityWalk venues, rides, and attractions within The Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM and Jurassic ParkTM, which also included plenty of karaoke, live DJs, and food options!
