As chief financial officer, Marc Levine leads Tanium’s global finance team and finance-related operational functions. He also manages all external financial relationships. As a disciplined leader, he focuses on translating financial decisions into operational actions, as he supports Tanium’s growth and scale.
Marc is a highly experienced financial executive with deep operational expertise, developed through a 14-year tenure at public and private equity-backed companies. Most recently, Marc was CFO of RSA Security, where he led the company’s transition from a Dell subsidiary to a standalone operation. Prior to RSA, he held the role of chief financial officer at software company C3.ai, Athenahealth and JDA Software, now Blue Yonder. Marc started his career at Hewlett-Packard, spending 25 years with the business in a number of financial and operational leadership roles, including senior vice president of finance and chief operating officer for HP Enterprise Services, vice president of finance leading Hewlett-Packard’s Enterprise Business, and corporate controller for Hewlett-Packard. Marc’s background also includes international experience, spending six years in the Asia Pacific region.
Marc is a graduate of Emory University and holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
