Mark Fields served as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company and was a member of the company’s board of directors from 2014-2017. He joined Ford in 1989 and progressed through a number of leadership positions in the U.S., South America, Asia and Europe. He was executive vice president and president of the Americas, executive vice president and CEO of Premier Automotive Group and Ford Europe, chairman and CEO of the Premier Automotive Group from 2002 to 2004, and was president and chief executive officer of Mazda Motor Corporation from 2000 to 2002. Fields currently serves as a senior advisor to TPG and is a director on the following TPG portfolio company boards: Boomi, CLEAResult, Planview and Tanium. He also serves as an independent director for Qualcomm, board advisor for Wind River, and recently as interim CEO of Hertz.
