Ep. 21: Ethical AI – How (and How Much) We Can Rely On It
AI philosopher and designer Josh Bachynski and Tanium’s Doug Thompson discuss first-mover advantage and why young people should be “playing with AI like crazy.”
Summary
AI is “auto-complete on steroids” – it’s read so much of what’s on the internet and consumed any data you care to feed it, so that it can predict with remarkable statistical accuracy the answer to a question you pose, or the quickest way to organize that presentation you need to make to the boss.
That’s because it knows how data and ideas are related to each other, explains Josh Bachynski, who translates in layman’s terms how AI works as handily as he designs and reverse-engineers it. In this episode, Bachynski breaks down some of the basics of AI, from how it works and why it sometimes gets “dumber” over time to the jobs it will and won’t replace.
HOST: Doug Thompson, chief education architect, Tanium
GUEST: Josh Bachynski, founder, SEO AGI
