Tanium Named to FORTUNE Magazine’s 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials

Emeryville, Calif., August 6, 2020 – Tanium, the provider of unified endpoint management and security built for the world’s most demanding IT environments, today announced that it ranked fourth on FORTUNE Magazine’s 2020 list of 100 Best Medium Workplaces for Millennials. This marks the first appearance for Tanium on the list, which ranks companies on the quality and consistency of experience for millennials across a number of job roles and from diverse demographic backgrounds.

The annual ‘100 Best Workplaces for Millennials’ list is compiled by FORTUNE in partnership with Great Places to Work, and is based on feedback from more than 4.9 million employees at Great Place to Work– Certified™ organizations. Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies who best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization.

“At Tanium, we’re committed to building a workplace culture that enables our employees to do the best work of their careers while solving challenging problems for our global customers,” said Bina Chaurasia, Chief People Officer at Tanium. “Our inclusion on the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials list affirms our belief that if we hire the right people, trust and empower them, and ground everything we do in our values, then we will achieve our mission and build a company to be proud of.”

“For many years, organizations have put forth considerable effort towards attracting and retaining millennial talent” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “The Best Workplaces on this list have created cultures where its youngest employees experience not only an environment where they can grow professionally and personally, but also find a deeper sense of purpose in their work. As we prepare for a large influx of young professionals from Generation Z to enter the work force for the first time, these organizations have distinguished themselves as the leaders in attracting and developing the leaders of tomorrow.”

Tanium regularly ranks among the top workplaces in technology. In 2020, the company has already been ranked in the top 10 on two Best Workplaces lists: 100 Best Places to Work in Technology and 100 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area. The company is also recognized for its innovation. In 2019, it ranked ninth on the Forbes Cloud 100 list.

Tanium currently employs over 1,500 employees globally and continues to look for talented people who are inspired by its mission to help some of the world’s largest enterprises and governments solve their hardest IT challenges.
