Receiving a 10 out of 10 severity score by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Log4j (CVE-2021-44228) is a critical vulnerability enabling unauthenticated remote code execution in an open-source Java logging library currently incorporated in numerous enterprise applications and open-source software.
